0.4mm thickness and below jump ring wire will comfortably fit through the end link of this chain.
Can you tell me what thickness jump ring wire will fit through the end link of each of these chain widths? 18ct White Gold 1.3mm Round Loose Trace Chain Trace
Hi, I'm new to this and would like to add a jump ring to each end of a short length of trace chain. But most of the jump rings seem like the wire would be too thick for the size of the link, or the ring is too small (I need it to be at least 3.2mm ID to fit over the catch of another finished chain, but not too big). Is this a case where I'd be better off getting some round wire and making the necessary diameter / thickness rings from scratch? Thanks!
