To change the rollers on the ring stretcher, you will need to:
- Match the shank width of the ring to one of the rollers in the box
- Fix the matching roller to stretcher by removing the pin on the U section at the end of the handle. To do this, pull upwards
- Remove the roller that is already there and replace the roller that matched the shank of your ring and replace the pin
- Inset shank of ring between the two rollers and move handle from side to side to stretch the metal.
- Only the back of the shank should be worked on (only to be used on gem set rings)
- Rings should not be stretched more than two sizes and only if the shank is thick enough
