We recommend putting hot water inside the lid that's been taken off to soften it, as this makes pushing the lid back on the barrel a lot easier.
The lid needs to be on tightly.
Ensure there is no air bubbles by pushing on the centre of the lid, whilst lifting a section of the rim up a bit.
For extra security, run a little cold water on the lid that's now securely on the barrel.
