A copper pan would suffice. While we would always recommend using a specific Pickling Unit if you can - many jewellers starting out do always begin with a ceramic slow cooker to carry out pickling - as suggested in our Guide to Pickling which can be found here. Of course just remember not to use it for cooking afterwards!
