It is possible to cast directly from a 3 dimentional printed part however only when using Photocentrics Violet Castable Resin (999 3380). This castable resin will create highly accurate, detailed printed parts that are ready to cast. They obtain a really nice smooth finish, next to no ash, expansion or residue during the casting process.
Suitable for printing and casting intricate jewellery pieces, dental casts and models for direct investment casting.
