The magic 70 is designed for cutting stainless steel, but only with End Mill Tips 0.5mm and higher, we stock 0.6mm (997 6310) and 1.0mm (997 6312).
0.4mm and 0.3mm (997 6311) End Mill Tips are extremely fragile and should only be used to cut the softest of metals.
Please note - when using End Mill Cutters there are a few things that need to be taken into consideration;
1. The tension xxxx must be fixed in the right hand side on the top of the machine
2. Use a steady surface work surface for your machine.
3. Make sure the work is clamped down, making sure there are no vibrations when cutting.
4. Make sure the work the area is well lubricated with WD40.
5. Always use Z pitch correctly ensuring that you never cut more than 0.3mm at a time, so when cutting 1.2mm make sure the machine passes 4 times at 0.3mm down to 1.2mm.
