No, the Ring Rescue Compression Device is not designed to directly interact with the ring. The device applies targeted pressure to make the finger smaller which allows a ring that was stuck to now have enough room to be removed. You first apply the device to reduce finger size and then once the device is removed lubricant is applied to the finger and proper manipulation techniques are used to remove the ring non-destructively.
