If the alarm is sounding, be sure that the probe tip is not touching any metal. Otherwise this alarm is likely to sound due to other parts of your body touching a metallic surface (i.e. steel table) that conducts electricity. If you are testing indoors, we recommend wearing footwear so that the electrical loop between tester and body is completed.
Be assured that this is normal on the PGT II, and does not require any repair.
