Dispose of in accordance with local regulations, information that can be provided by your local council.
However, pickle salts are a sulphite based product and does not contain any contaminants that would cause environmental harm if diluted 1 part spent acid to 20 parts water and disposed of in a “mains” connected sewage system. (not “soak away or into a natural water course ). The product degrades to simple sodium salts that occur naturally.?
This is a satisfactory way to dispose of small amounts, up to 5 litres, if the tank size is larger there may be enough metallic traces in the solution to require acid neutralisation using sodium carbonate and being allowed to settle, when the safe liquid is drained off and the sludge collected and disposed off by a registered recycler. The sludge will contain the Carbonated and hydroxide forms of the metals that have been pickled, mainly copper and some traces of Silver.
